Mercedes-Benz F800 Style

Mercedes-Benz F800 Style

It takes some real balls to put "Style" right in the name of your car, and despite its shark-that-ran-head-first-into-a-wall front end, the Mercedes-Benz F800 Style ($TBA) has it in spades. Still a concept at this point, the F800 boasts a ton of predictably high-end technology, including a plug-in hybrid drive system that pairs a 300 hp V6 gasoline engine with a 109 hp hybrid module for a total of 409 hp, a seven-speed transmission, a new multi-function display concept and touchpad-equipped interface, a new Distronic Plus Traffic Jam Assistant feature that basically drives the car for you in heavy traffic under 25 mph, rear pivot-and-slide doors, and plenty of LED lighting.

Porsche 918 Spyder

Porsche 918 Spyder

The result of a mad scientist's experiment involving a 911, a Prius, and the front end of a Ferrari F430, the Porsche 918 Spyder ($TBA) is a new plug-in hybrid concept borrowing bits of all three. A 500hp V8 mid-mounted motor is paired with two electric motors — one for each axle — giving the open two-seat 918 a total of 718hp, good for a 0-62 time of 3.2 seconds, a top-end speed of 198 mph, and yet, amazingly, the possibility for 78 mpg fuel economy. A seven-speed PDK transmission, a carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic body, powerful brakes, a bevy of driving modes, and that prancing horse-inspired front end round out this eco-enthusiast's dream ride.

Spartan Daybed

Spartan Daybed

So we have absolutely no clue what it has to do with Sparta, Spartans, or Sparty, the Michigan State mascot, but we're willing to overlook the silly name of the Spartan Daybed ($6,000) since it's so damn nice-looking. Hand woven from man-made, all-season brown wicker, this enormous enclosed daybed is made to withstand the elements, and also includes six 18" square accent cushions with zippered, fade-, stain- and mildew-resistant Sunbrella covers for all the cushions, but unfortunately not the comfy 5" thick bed cushion, which runs a whopping $2,600 extra.

2011 Audi A1

2011 Audi A1

What would it look like if Audi made a Mini Cooper? Probably a lot like the 2011 Audi A1 (€16,000 and up). This small compact Audi offers go-kart-like handling thanks to its sort overhangs, wide stance, and short height, and comes powered by one of four either TFSI gasoline or TDI diesel engines, ranging in power from 86hp to 122hp. Five-speed or six-speed manuals are available as well as a seven-speed dual-clutch S-tronic automatic, and niceties like the MMI navigation system, a 100 percent LED-lit interior, 18-inch wheels, LED rear lights and Xenon headlamps, four colors of roof arches, and ten exterior colors.

Whether you're running a small business, gearing up for your summertime lemonade stand, or simply want a way to process the door charges at your next multi-kegger, Square can help. This new service uses a small headphone port-connecting card reader and accompanying iPhone app to allow you to accept credit, debit, and pre-paid gift card payments anywhere you have an Internet connection. The customer signs with their finger, and can even have the receipt sent directly to their e-mail account. Beats the hell out of the ol' metal cash box.

Tunebug

Tunebug

Using SurfaceSound technology, the new Tunebug Vibe ($70) lets you take a speaker with you basically anywhere you go. The Tunebug sports a stylish, triangular brushed metal body, an illuminated power button, and a standard 3.5mm input for compatibility with a wide range of audio sources, but the real magic is in the NXT-powered SurfaceSound Speaker, which turns nearly any surface — although hollow ones work best — into a makeshift speaker.

Portside Flask

Portside Flask

We're fans of nautical threads, so why not other accessories? The Portside Flask ($30) takes its design cues from the portholes on sea-faring vessels, with a window that lets you see the beverage inside. Made from stainless steel with a screw-off top, it holds up to 4 oz. of your favorite liquor.

LG Mini

LG Mini

While it's more of a feature-phone than truly "smart," the LG Mini ($TBA) may be enough to satisfy those with less ambitious mobile cravings. Falcon Bullet Motorcycle

Falcon Bullet Motorcycle

Custom-built over the course of 1,000+ hours and sporting more hand-made fine details than we could possibly list here, the only bad thing we can say about the Falcon Bullet Motorcycle ($TBA) is that it's going to be impossible to get your hands on it — unless, of course, Jason Lee decides to put it up for sale. This custom Triumph began with a derelict frame and engine cases from a 1950 Triumph Thunderbird, and features modifications like a 750cc engine made specifically for this machine, a vintage brass lucas tail light, handlebars and levels hand carved from solid rounds of stainless steel and shaped to contour the gas tank during agressive turns, a hand made leather seat, and a stretched frame for a longer stance.
